On June 27, Sevak Hatchi Hakobyan filed a lawsuit to Yerevan Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative district courts of general jurisdiction against “Azg daily” Ltd and Hakob Avetikyan, demanding they publicly retract slanderous claims and insults, apologise and pay compensation. The reason for the lawsuit was an article published on the website “Azg.am” titled “Fat on the belly and the hungry stomach”. On June 29, court proceedings on the claim commenced.
