On February 14, Armenian citizen Erik Yeghinyan filed a lawsuit in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdication against the Factinfo news website seeking compensation of AMD 1 million, a written apology and a published retraction. On March 25 the plaintiff appealed that decision to the Court of Appeal, and on April 25 the appeal was upheld. On June 17, the case was accepted for proceedings by the next relevant court.
