Married journalists Aliaksandr Lychauka and Snyazhana Inanets were sentenced to «domestic chemistry». The Pervomaisky District Court of Minsk found them guilty under Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (participation in actions grossly violating public order). Snyazhana Inanetswas sentenced to two years of imprisonment without sending to a correctional facility, and Aliaksandr Lychauka to three years. The journalists were released from custody in the courtroom. They were detained on October 6, 2022, and held in the pre-trial detention center in Minsk until their sentencing.
