On April 17, 2022, it became known that the website of the Saki-based newspaper Slovo Goroda was attacked and hacked. The attackers posted an article on the website aimed at discrediting the armed forces and the Russian government. The editorial office shut the website down until the perpetrators are found and the vulnerabilities are eliminated. As of September 4, the website is still down.
