Source: Mediazona Belarus

Location: Belarus, Slutsk

Additional information:

The Telegram channel Shkvarka News, close to the security forces, published a video about the work of the Slutsk-based newspaper Infa-Kuryer, reproaching the journalists for one-sided covering of the situation in Belarus and the publication of TUT.by materials on its website. The authors of the video accused the journalists of the media outlet of biased covering the events of 2020 and of going to Europe for training; the video shows several contracts concluded by the editorial office with different people and organisations. In the «penitential» videos, the journalists say that in 2020, they «allowed a one-sided interpretation of what is happening in Belarus». Editor-in-chief Siarhei Stankevich said that «the materials should have been given more attention in terms of how much they correspond to objectivity».
