The security officials came to Olshevski’s home with a search and seized his computer equipment, electronic devices, and documents. After the search, he was taken to the Financial Investigations Department for interrogation. A preventive measure in the form of arrest for 72 hours in the status of a suspect in a criminal case of tax evasion on a large scale (Part 2 of Article 243 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus) was applied to Siarhei Alsheuski.
