The exact date of the detention of Siarhei Adziaryha is unknown, but it is known that on September 8, 2021, the representatives of the security agencies drew up a report stating that «in the course of a set of operational and investigative measures, information was received that Adziaryha, a current employee of BelTA, might be providing the Telegram channel Nick and Mike with classified information about the working schedule of Alexander Lukashenko». The case was handled by officers of the KGB. Adziaryha was held in custody until the trial. On April 19, 2022, he was sentenced to five years of jail.
