On August 2, journalist and poet Shakhzoda Bahranova (online pseudonym — Shahina Abdurazzok) from the city of Karshi was detained in Tashkent. In the evening of the same day, her last telephone conversation with her mother took place, in which she reported that she had arrived in Tashkent safely and added that there was a woman next to her and they were going to a hotel together. After that, she immediately disappeared from communication, her Facebook profile was deactivated and her Telegram channel was blocked. At the police station, after the interrogation, she became ill. She was rushed to the nearest hospital.
