On May 17, 2024, in Simferopol, after inspection and seizure of equipment, officers of the Centre for Combating Extremism detained the founder of the media outlet Qırım Seyran Ibragimov and took him to take explanations. Ibragimov was unexpectedly taken away in a police car. It turned out that during the drawing up of reports, he felt ill and was taken home.
