During the pre-election campaign before the parliamentary elections, journalists were attacked several times. At a meeting of the candidate for deputy Sadagat Verdiyeva with voters, Sevinj Vagifgizi was not allowed to carry out her professional activities. She stated that representatives of the independent media outlets were not allowed to the meeting, and after the meeting, they were physically assaulted.
