Journalists of the Uzbek TV channel Sevimli were attacked in front of numerous witnesses. Before the beginning of the soccer match, the police officers refused to let a film crew into the capital's Pakhtakor stadium. Then, the cameraman started filming the fans who did not get to the game, which enraged the police officers. They attacked the journalists, twisted their arms, and threw them to the ground, taking away their equipment and passes. Six to seven policemen and one member of the National Guard beat the cameraman with a truncheon. They also kicked him in the stomach and head. During the attack, a taser was used twice against him. The victims did not file a complaint with the prosecutor's office. The local media does not name the journalist, only the initials of the name and the surname of the cameraman are known.
