Semey City Court of the East Kazakhstan region ruled to expel from the country a citizen of the Russian Federation, who has a residence permit in Kazakhstan, the head of the media center Alpha Marino group Serik Ualikhanov. The Semey Police Department applied to the court for expulsion, motivating the claim by the fact that Ualikhanov had been held administratively liable six times (once in October 2020 and five times on July 2, 2021). According to the court decision, Ualikhanov must leave the Republic within 10 days from the day the decision was announced. According to the law «On the Legal Status of Foreigners,» he is prohibited from entering the country for five years from the date of execution of the court decision on expulsion.
