Law enforcement officer in Atyrau E. Bigambayev asked the Atyrau Police Department to «take appropriate measures against the activist and correspondent of Road Control Serik Kozhaniyazov on the fact of „libel“». In January 2022, Kozhaniyazov filed a complaint with the Department for Counteraction to Corruption stating that his son (17-years-old at the time) had been beaten at a police station. The applicant E. Bigambayev claims: on February 6, this year, on the YouTube channel DGK.Region.06 S. Kozhaniyazov disseminated defamatory information about him that he allegedly offered money, asking to withdraw the complaint against the officers and not to prosecute them.
