Serik Azhibay, an activist who conducted live broadcasts on social networks from pickets outside the Chinese consulate in Almaty, said that he was summoned to the police. «They gave me a paper written in Russian, although I don’t understand Russian. The guys there told me: «On March 10, you came out to the consulate of China». And they showed me five videos. I’m not in any of them,» — Azhibay told a Radio Azattyq reporter. According to the document, Azhibay together with a group of people has been holding «unauthorized pickets in defense of citizens of China» outside the consulate of China in Almaty since February 1.
