The law enforcers once again searched the apartment of the blogger Sergey Veselov. They confiscated his laptop, tablet, and mobile phone. Veselov was taken away for interrogation and then released with undertaking not to leave the city. Two new criminal cases were opened against the blogger — on «discrediting» the army (the fifth) and on «rehabilitation of Nazism» (Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) — for the video «Do not confuse Germans with Hitlerites, and Russians with Putinites». In addition, the blogger is a defendant in a case of vandalism because of anti-war inscriptions on the building of the city administration; he was sentenced to community service in a case of insulting a judge, and also became a defendant in a case of «LGBT propaganda» because of a post where he spoke about his views on homophobia.
