The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has added Tambov-based journalist Sergey Stepanov to the register of «foreign agents». The Ministry said in a statement that Stepanov had disseminated inaccurate information about the decisions of the Russian authorities, opposed the «special military operation» in Ukraine, interacted with persons included in the register of foreign agents and distributed their materials. It is also noted that the journalist «participates in the activities of a foreign legal entity» and lives outside Russia.
