The camera crew of the German public TV channel ARD – Ilya Kuznetsov and Russian citizens Sergey Sergeyev and Mikhail Fomin – were detained in the hotel «Minsk». They were taken to the police department and held there till the morning of the next day. On August 29, the journalists were deprived of their accreditation, Sergeyev and Fomin were deported and barred from entering the country for five years, and Kuznetsov was drawn up a report on violation of the law on mass events (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus).
