Five employees of the St. Petersburg-based TV channel 78 were fired for posting on social networks. One of those fired was Sergey Sakhnenko, the editing director of the program Telekuryer. Sergey Sakhnenko, who had previously published three posts about the war in Ukraine. His bosses refused to disclose the reason for his dismissal — only referring to the agreement of the parties. A few days before his dismissal, his boss asked Sakhnenko if he had posted anything on social networks and asked him «to be careful».
