The court of Rostov-on-Don arrested emigrant journalist Sergey Reznik in absentia on charges of rehabilitation of Nazism (Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) because of a post on a Telegram channel. The decision was made on the petition of the investigator of the Pervomaisky District Investigation Department. According to the materials of the case, the examination found «linguistic and psychological signs of justification of the attack of Nazi Germany on the Soviet Union» in the post of June 22, 2021 on the Telegram channel Ottocazz — this channel is associated with Reznik. On October 24, 2021, the Rostov Oblast Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs put Sergey Reznik on the wanted list. His relatives had already been searched in the case of justification of Nazism.
