The Tsentralny District Court of Khabarovsk sent the journalist to arrest for 10 days, the article was not specified. The day before, Plotnikov was fined RUB 10,000 under Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (obstructing traffic at an unauthorised action) and after the trial was again taken to the police station. On January 30, the journalist was hospitalised from the special detention centre where he was serving his arrest.
