Security forces visited the editorial office of Bars TV and the home of Sergey Kustov, editor-in-chief of Bars and editor of the IvanovoNews portal. The local Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case for “defamation using official position.” According to journalists, the case stems from an IvanovoNews article about an anonymous Telegram channel called “Ivanovo Cops.” The article claimed that employees of the Center “E” post false information on the channel and mock the relatives of people who went missing in the war. Kustov required urgent medical attention.
