The charge stemmed from the article published by IvanovoNews that reported on a video appeal made by relatives of soldiers from the 98th Airborne Division, based in Ivanovo, who had gone missing during the war in Ukraine. The article included a list of 17 missing soldiers by name. It was later removed from the outlet’s website and social media platforms.
