The Ivanovo District Court of the Ivanovo Region arrested the editor-in-chief of IvanovoNews Sergey Kustov for 10 days on charges of disobedience to law enforcers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation). On March 12, the journalist worked at the site of the crash of IL-76, which killed 15 people. In the report, the police indicated that Kustov did not respond to their demands to leave the «cordoned off area of the crash site». According to the journalist, five police officers attacked him without warning, twisted his arms, demanded that he delete the video footage, and took away his phone. After that, he was placed in the UAZ service vehicle and kept there for about three hours.
