Tatyana M., the owner of the Tulpar horse club, filed a lawsuit for the protection of honour, dignity, and business reputation against Sergey Korablev, a correspondent of the Lada newspaper, with the Aktau Court №2. She demands to recognise the information published in the article «Aktau police investigate cruel treatment of animals and children» (lada.kz, 11.12.2023) as untrue and defamatory, to oblige the journalist to publish a refutation, to recover KZT 1 million from the defendant as compensation for moral damage, as well as to reimburse the costs of paying for a representative, notary services, and state duty. Later, the civil proceedings were terminated due to the conclusion of a mediation agreement.
