Journalist Sergey Karelin, arrested in the case of cooperation with Anti-Corruption Foundation (Part 2 of Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), spoke about the torturous conditions of detention in Moscow's Matrosskaya Tishina detention centre №1. He was placed in a cell with seven other prisoners, designed for four places. Karelin sleeps on a cot with another prisoner and has no personal space.
