The Insider journalist Sergey Ezhov is facing criminal charges for allegedly “failing to comply with the requirements of a foreign agent.” Authorities searched his parents' apartment in Ryazan, breaking down the door while no one was home, according to Ezhov. He is currently not in Russia. The Ministry of Justice designated him a “foreign agent” in July 2024.
