On May 6, Tikhanovsky was detained for participating in an anti-integration rally that took place back in December. The court arrested Tikhanovsky for 15 days. After his arrest, a video message was published on his YouTube channel stating that he intends to participate in the presidential campaign as a candidate for the presidency of Belarus.
