The Russian Ministry of Justice has added the Telegram channel “Angry Chuvashia” to its list of “foreign agents.” According to the ministry, the channel disseminated false information about government decisions and the Russian electoral system, as well as content from “foreign agents” and “undesirable” organisations. The project’s founder is also designated as a “foreign agent.” This refers to Semyon Kochkin, the former coordinator of Alexei Navalny’s campaign headquarters in Cheboksary, against whom a criminal case has been opened in Russia.
