Additional information:
On the day of the local elections, Satenik Hovsepyan, the correspondent of the Aravot.am news website, was obstructed from filming a video of the building of polling station №38/9. The journalist was approached by Vanush Piloyan, the representative of the ruling Civil Contract party, who rudely demanded to stop filming as he did not want to be in the footage. The journalist objected that she was filming a public building; if someone did not want to be filmed, he could leave. Piloyan warned that if he appeared in the footage, he would file a lawsuit against the media outlet and then demanded to show the footage. Later, the candidate for the Council of Elders, running from the ruling party, told the journalist that Piloyan was his trusted person and had not been informed that the accredited journalist conducted the filming.
