On October 19, the Radio Azattyq reporter in Astana Saniyash Toyken was prevented by the Supreme Court guards from entering the courtroom to cover the trial. The trial was held on the application of presidential candidates to the Central Election Commission. The journalist posted a video about it on her Facebook page and wrote: «I left after arguing for 46 minutes». According to her, it was an open trial, however, someone from the inside made a list of those who could attend it.
