At the demand of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Roskomnadzor blocked Sakhalin’s largest information portal, Sakh.com. Sakhalin Regional Duma deputy Svetlana Ivanova asked State Duma deputy Alexey Kornienko to send a request to the Prosecutor General’s Office to look into what happened. In March, Nina Klyuchnikova, head of the Sakhalin Council of Soldiers’ Mothers, wrote a denunciation to Sakh.com, stating that «the forum turned into a platform for blatant anti-Russian propaganda».
