On December 18, journalist Sahavet Mammad was invited to the General Prosecutor’s Office in connection with his articles about the army. He was then taken to the Khatai District Court, where he was fined AZN 500 for "placing in an information resource or in an information and telecommunication network information, the dissemination of which is prohibited by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan On Information, Informatisation and Protection of Information (Art. 388-1.1.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Azerbaijan).
