On February 11, 2022, Russian police officers detained in Simferopol three Crimean Tatar civil journalists of the Crimean Solidarity (Ali Suleymanov, Amar Abdulgaziev, and Rustem Useinov), who came to the building of the Crimean Garrison Military Court during the sentencing of Crimeans Zekirya Muratov and Vadim Bektemirov by the Southern District Military Court of Rostov-on-Don. It is specified that the Russian security forces tried to take away the journalists' video equipment and refused to let them into the courtroom. Subsequently, all the journalists were taken to the police station, held there for about two hours, and later released without any claims.
