The director of the Atyrau Regional Children’s Hospital filed a complaint with the police demanding to bring blogger Rustem Bayaziyev to criminal responsibility for spreading deliberately false information. Earlier, the staff of the same hospital appealed to the law enforcement authorities from the social networks pages with a request to give a legal assessment of the blogger’s actions. The appeal claimed that Bayaziyev posted videos and information on Facebook about the failure to provide care to patients without providing objective evidence. Bayaziyev reported that he visited the hospital following complaints from parents of disabled children, and that in the video the parents complained about the negligent attitude of doctors at the children’s hospital and the lack of necessary equipment.
