According to the Investigative Committee, an employee of a Voronezh law firm attacked the correspondent of Andrey Malakhov’s Live Broadcast talk show. He refused to answer questions and sprayed gas to the TV reporter’s face from a canister. A criminal case was initiated to obstruct the journalist's professional activities using violence (Part 3 of Article 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
