On 30 July, Shymkent court sentenced blogger Ruslan Zhanpeisov, who’s also known as “policemen hunter”, to one year in prison. Zhanpeisov was accused of “causing medium gravity bodily harm” to a citizen of Shykment and “insult of authority representative”- a policeman. Earlier, Zhanpeisov told Azattyk reportet that he used a pepper spray in seld-defence.
