The security officials detained the photographer while he was taking photos of the protest action in the city center. He was taken to the police department, where two administrative reports were drawn up on him: for alleged disobedience to the police (Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus) and participation in an unauthorized event (Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus). He was held in a detention center until the trial. On October 26, the court found Ruslan Sieradziuk guilty and sentenced him to 15 days of arrest.
