KGB officers searched the editorial office of Intex-press and the flats of the media outlet’s management. The ruling, which they presented, stated that the search was conducted as part of the investigation of a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 289 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (an act of terrorism committed repeatedly or by a group of persons by prior conspiracy). The law enforcers then searched the flats of the media outlet’s editor-in-chief Uladzimir Yanukevich and website editor Ruslan Ravyaka — they also seized equipment and digital data carriers. After the searches, Yanukevich and Ravyaka were summoned for interrogation.
