On December 2, the Khatai District Court of Baku arrested the host of online TV Kanal13 Rufat Muradly for 30 days. He was found guilty under Article 535.1 (failure to obey lawful demands of the police) of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Muradly was detained in the afternoon of December 2 at a car park near Nargilya cafe in the Khatai district. Muradly went to prepare an interview with the mother of the arrested journalist Sevinj Vagifgyzy. However, the interview did not take place due to the absence of the journalist's mother at home.
