The court fined Yanchenko RUB 500 for cooperating with a Polish TV channel without accreditation from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The journalist was found guilty under Article 19.20 of Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (activity without a licence). The reason was a video on the website Vot-tak.tv (a project of the TV channel Belsat), which reported that the police of Novokuznetsk had arranged surveillance of Yanchenko.
