The magistrate’s court issued Yanchenko a warning for not getting accreditation at the Foreign Ministry as a foreign journalist. This is the first such case in Russia. Belsat TV is registered in Poland. On March 13, Yanchenko was detained while filming. A warrant against him was issue under Art. 19.20, part 1 of the Code of Administrative Procedures (activity without a license). The warrant indicates that the journalist “interviewed participants in single pickets, using the video camera of his cell phone and microphone, marked with the name of the Belsat TV.
