The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has charged journalist Roman Popkov in absentia with the organisation of a terrorist act (Part 4 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) — the murder of military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky. He allegedly corresponded with the alleged perpetrator of the murder, Darya Trepova, on social networks and gave her instructions concerning the preparation of the crime. Popkov has been put on a wanted list.
