Additional information:
The body of journalist Roman Nezhyborets was found buried in the village of Yahidne in northern Ukraine. His body was discovered by local Ukrainians after Russian troops withdrew from these territories. Russian soldiers occupied Yahidne on March 5, driving residents into underground shelters and confiscating their cell phones. Nezhyborets, who was with his family in a shelter in Yahidne, tried to use a hidden phone to conceal evidence of his work with the TV station and called his mother to ask her to notify his friends and colleagues that he should be removed from the group chats, including those of Dytynets workers. On March 5, Russian troops caught Nezhyborets while he was calling his mother and took him away. On April 6, after the city was liberated from Russian troops, Ukrainian volunteers found Nezhyborets' body in a grave in Yahidne with gunshot wounds to the knees and with his hands tied.
