Law enforcement officers searched the apartment of the mother of the editor of Abazhur magazine Roman Kupriyanov, who was writing under the pseudonym Foma Neverov and took him for interrogation. The search lasted three hours, after which the security forces officers seized the journalist's hard drives. After his release, the journalist wrote on Facebook that the Special Rapid Response Unit officer during the search «flew into the balcony door», «threw him on the floor», «held his head with his foot», and shouted: «Have you posted videos about the governor? Who is the customer?». According to Kupriyanov, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kemerovo Region initiated a case, due to the publication of the video, on the illegal obtaining of information from the computers of the regional administration (Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
