The Lefortovsky District Court of Moscow has arrested Roman Dobrokhotov, editor-in-chief of The Insider, in absentia on the case of illegal border crossing. According to the investigation, Dobrokhotov crossed the border with Ukraine in the Voronezh region bypassing customs on the night of August 1, 2021. Because of this, a criminal case was opened against him under Part 1 of Article 322 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Federal Security Service applied for a preventive measure for him.
