The Cheremushkinsky District Court of Moscow has opened an administrative case against Roman Dobrokhotov, founder and editor-in-chief of The Insider. He is accused of participating in the activities of an “undesirable” organisation (Article 20.33 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). In August 2024, Dobrokhotov was previously fined 14,000 rubles (€142.73) under the same provision. In the summer of 2022, the Prosecutor General's Office designated the investigative outlet The Insider as an “undesirable” organisation.
