Roman Badanin, editor-in-chief of the Proekt (The Project) media, noticed that he was being watched and filed complaints with the Main Police Department of Moscow, the Chertanovo Inter-district Prosecutor's Office, and the Investigative Committee. The journalist himself informed Mediazona about this. As Badanin indicated in the complaint, on April 7, when he was driving from Noginsk (Moscow Region) to Moscow, he noticed an unknown car behind him. The car followed the journalist for 100 kilometres – from Noginsk to Chertanovskaya Street in Moscow.
