Alexander Kobrinsky, the former lecturer at the Herzen State Pedagogical University and the St. Petersburg Institute of Jewish Studies and a member of the Yabloko party, filed a lawsuit for the protection of honour and dignity, this time against Rimma Polyak, the journalist of Republic. She wrote an article «The Kobrinsky Effect: Old Yabloko and New Ethics», which described the party’s reaction to the Kobrinsky scandal. Polyak was summoned to an investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
