Russian hosting provider Reg.ru has refused to host the Republic website in the .ru domain zone. The editorial team said it had not received any official letters or warnings beforehand. A similar situation has occurred with the .ru domains of the outlets Aspekty Bashkortostan and The Moscow Times, as well as those of journalist Dmitry Kolezev and blogger Alexey Eksler.
