The Maladzyechna-based online media outlet Rehiyanalnaya Hazeta was included in the Republican List of Extremist Materials by the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus. The decision to declare the media outlet «extremist» was taken by the Partizanski District Court of Minsk. According to the Belarusian law, distribution and storage of materials declared extremist provides for administrative responsibility for both publishers and users.
